01 · How it works

Every phone carries the feed forward.

DIRECT phones sync with whoever is in range. What one phone has, the next one gets, so a post can hop through several phones to reach people its author never met.

  1. Post offlineYour post is signed on your phone and stored locally.
  2. Phones meetNearby DIRECT phones find each other over Bluetooth and swap what's new.
  3. It keeps travellingEach phone passes it on at its next meeting. Private messages ride along as encrypted envelopes only the recipient can open.

04 · Private by design

No servers. Keys stay on your phone.

Each connection starts with an ECDH key exchange and is encrypted with AES-GCM. Both phones show the same code and security fingerprint. Calls are encrypted too.
